Agassiz Beach

Agassiz Beach is a wind turbine facility located in Ulen, Minnesota, within the Midwest Reliability Organization region. With an operating capacity of 1.9 MW, this unregulated plant harnesses wind energy to generate power. The facility is managed by Chi Corporation and is primarily owned by CHI Minnesota Wind, a subsidiary of Enel SpA. Power generated at Agassiz Beach is sold to Northern States Power Company, contributing to the renewable energy landscape in the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area.
