Ada Cogeneration LP is a combined cycle power plant located in Ada, Michigan, operating under the ReliabilityFirst Corporation NERC region. With an operating capacity of 32 MW, the facility utilizes natural gas as its fuel source. The plant is managed by Ada Energy Services and is unregulated, with TransAlta Corporation serving as the majority owner and holding company. Power generated at the plant is primarily purchased by Consumers Energy Company, and it operates within the Midcontinent Independent System Operator power control area.
