Located at A Street 2 in Johnston, Rhode Island, this solar power facility operates under the jurisdiction of the Northeast Power Coordinating Council. With an operating capacity of 1.6 MW, the plant is part of the ISO New England power control area. The facility is managed by Southern Sky Renewable Energy, which also serves as the majority owner and holding company. As an unregulated entity, the plant harnesses solar energy, utilizing the sun as its primary fuel source to contribute to the region’s renewable energy portfolio.
