233 Randolph 74 Solar I is a solar power facility located in Shelby, North Carolina, within the SERC Reliability Corporation region. The plant has an operating capacity of 2 MW and is managed by Renew Petra Integrators, which also holds majority ownership. As an unregulated facility, it operates independently within the power control area of Duke Energy Carolinas, which is also its primary power purchaser. The plant harnesses solar energy, contributing to the renewable energy landscape in the region.
