German wind turbine manufacturer Nordex SE has appointed Manav Sharma as the CEO of its North American operations, aiming to lead the expansion of its business in the US. Sharma, who currently serves as Nordex’s Chief Transformation Officer and previously was its Chief Operations Officer, will take over from John McComas. The expansion of local supply chains in US will ensure US customers continue to benefit from local manufacturing credit. This will enable the company to take advantage of anticipated market growth. In 2023, Europe accounted for 86% of Nordex’s total order volume, while North America, including Canada, made up 4%.
