JUWI Group Sells 327 MW Solar Projects in Colorado to Tri-State, Boosting Renewable Energy Goals.

German project developer JUWI Group has agreed to sell two solar schemes in Colorado, with a combined capacity of 327 MW DC, to Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association, marking the first renewable projects acquisition for Tri-state. The transaction involves the Axial Basin Solar project in Moffat County, the 141-MW DC Dolores Canyon site in Dolores County, and the Empire Electric Association site in the White River Electric Association service area. The two facilities are expected to be completed in late 2025. The acquisition will allow Tri-St to reach the milestone of 50% renewable energy use by its members, following earlier agreements with JUwi.
