John Lucey, a longtime aide to EPA Administrator Michael Regan, has joined the White House to assist in implementation of President Joe Biden’s signature climate law. Lucei, who led intergovernmental relations at EPA, will now be a senior adviser for implementation at the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs. This comes as the Biden administration continues to pursue its agenda to combat climate change and aid disadvantaged communities struggling with pollution. EPA chief of staff Dan Utech praised Luceys’ dedication and expertise to advance EPA’s mission to protect human health and the environment.
