Sundance Wind is a significant renewable energy project located in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, with a planned capacity of 150 MW. Operated by EDF Renewables Canada, a subsidiary of the French multinational Electricite de France SA, this wind turbine project is set to harness wind as its primary fuel source. The project is currently classified under foreign regulatory status in the United States and is expected to come online in 2034. The Sundance Wind project will contribute to the power control area managed by the British Columbia Hydro Authority, aligning with global efforts to transition towards sustainable energy solutions.
