Scattergood is a regulated power generation facility located in Playa del Rey, California, operated and owned by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. The plant, designated with the EIA Plant Code 404, is set to utilize combined cycle technology, primarily fueled by natural gas, with a total capacity of 346 megawatts. The project is expected to come online in 2029, contributing to the energy needs of the Los Angeles Power Control Area.
