Salt Flats Solar is a photovoltaic solar energy project located in Brooks, Alberta, with a capacity of 25.9 MW. Operated by PACE Canada, this project is under the ownership of Solarnet Investment Canada, a subsidiary of GOLDBECK GmbH. The project is classified as a foreign entity under U.S. regulatory status and is expected to come online in 2026. Utilizing solar power as its primary fuel source, Salt Flats Solar is positioned to contribute to the Alberta Electric System Operator’s power control area, enhancing the region’s renewable energy portfolio.
