Prairie Solar, located in Windsor, Virginia, is a photovoltaic solar energy project operated by Prairie Solar LLC. With a capacity of 20 megawatts, this unregulated facility is set to harness solar power as its primary fuel source, contributing to the growing renewable energy landscape. The project is owned by Energix – Renewable Energies, a subsidiary of Alony-Hetz Properties & Investments. Situated within the PJM Interconnection power control area, Prairie Solar is expected to come online in 2025, marking a significant step towards sustainable energy production in the region.
