Fish Lake Geothermal is a geothermal energy project located in Silver Peak, Nevada, with an expected online year of 2026. The project, operated by Open Mountain Energy, boasts a capacity of 26.5 megawatts (MW) and utilizes geothermal technology as its primary fuel source. The project is classified under the EIA Plant Code 66618 and is currently unregulated within the U.S. energy market. Open Mountain Energy, the project owner, is a subsidiary of Kaishan Holding Group Co. The power generated will be supplied to the Nevada Power Company, contributing to the region’s renewable energy portfolio.
