The Boise Bench Battery project, operated by Idaho Power Company and owned by IDACORP, is a regulated energy storage initiative located in Boise, Idaho. With a capacity of 200 MW, this state-of-the-art battery technology is designed to enhance the efficiency and reliability of the power control area managed by Idaho Power Co. The project is strategically positioned at a latitude of 43.55752 and is expected to come online in 2026. As a key component of Idaho Power’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions, the Boise Bench Battery will play a vital role in supporting the region’s energy needs through advanced energy storage capabilities.
