EPA Seeks Public Input on Nominees for Clean Air Scientific Advisory Committee Ahead of September Appointments

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is seeking public feedback on potential candidates for three seats on the Clean Air Scientific Advisory Committee, which will determine the agency’s key Clean Air Act regulations. The committee has received a total of 53 nominees, mostly from academia, and employees from Dominion Energy, the Virginia-based power producer, and other businesses. The deadline for public input is May 31. EPA Administrator Michael Regan is expected to name the new members by September.
