EPA Prepares for Budget Cuts as Congress Slashes Nearly $1 Billion from Agency’s Core Funding.

This could result in significant belt-tightening around the agency, which has grown during the Biden administration. McCabe stated that senior leaders, including Administrator Michael Regan and herself, will review the budget to create a new operating plan for the agency.
