Dominion Energy Inc (NYSE:D) has been authorised by Virginia regulators to add 764 MW of solar power capacity to its fleet in the state. The move will involve new installations, acquisitions, and power purchase agreements for 435 MW of independently owned projects. The construction of these projects will support over 1,600 jobs and bring over € 570 million in economic benefits across Virginia. The cost of these developments will add roughly USD 1.54 to the average residential customer’s monthly bill.
