California’s Heather Arias Defends New Train Pollution Rules Amid Republican Push to Overturn Them

California’s transportation and infrastructure regulator, Heather Arias, defended the state’s new pollution rules for trains during a hearing with Republicans seeking to kill them. The rules, pending before the EPA, would require older trains to be phased out and make companies pay for emissions.
