The Zero Emission Transportation Association (ZETA) has launched its Electric Vehicle Affordability Resource Page, which addresses questions about the costs of electric vehicles compared to traditional cars. The site also breaks down potential fuel savings for customers. It states that EV owners can save between $6,000 and $12,000 on gas and maintenance. The resource page also includes details on how potential owners can reduce electric bills by installing at-home Level 2 charging stations. It also addresses myths about battery replacement, particularly the assumption that EV batteries need replacement. ZETA’s launch is part of its effort to prevent the spread of misinformation about EVs. Other resource pages include Optimizing EVs in Cold Weather, the Electric Vehicle Safety Resource Page and Electric Vehicle Charging Resource Page.
