The Port of West Virginia is set to use the locally produced hydrogen to power its short line railroad engines, trucks, and forklifts. The Appalachian Hydrogen Hub, a collaborative effort involving diverse companies adopting different feedstocks for hydrogen production, is leading to groundbreaking strategies such as underground storage of hydrogen.
