Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas Wind Systems A/S has been selected to supply machines for a 136-MW repowering project in the US. The contract includes the supply, delivery and commissioning of 62 of Vestas’ V120-2.2 MW turbines and providing operational support services under a multi-year agreement. The delivery of the turbines is set to start in the third quarter of 2025 and the site is expected to live in the fourth quarter of the same year. The customer and the project were not disclosed.
