Trump Plans Cuts to Environmental Agencies and Education Department if Re-elected, Criticizes Biden’s Climate Stance.

Former President of the United States, Donald Trump, has expressed his intention to cut the Interior Department and other environmental agencies if he returns to the White House. This comes in an interview with Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” where he discussed wasteful government programs he’d cut. He also suggested that the Department of Education could also be eliminated. The president does not have the authority to unilaterally eliminate most federal agencies, as only lawmakers can do so. In the interview, Trump criticized President Joe Biden for calling climate change an “existential threat” and dismissed concerns about illegal immigration as one of the nation’s biggest threats.
