Trio Petroleum Begins Production at South Salinas Project, Anticipates Increased Reserves from New Wells.

Trio Petroleum Corp (NYSE American: TPET), a California-based oil and gas company, has begun production from two wells in its South Salinas Project. The HV-1 confirmation well (HV-3A) and HV3A discovery well are currently being worked out at the HVs-1 site and are expected to produce on pump in mid-to-late-January. The company plans to further test the HV1 well by putting it on pump and producing from this new zone, which it believes will further increase the reserves and PUDs of the company’s current approximate $2 billion reserve value. However, future production could be improved due to the remaining open perforations.
