TotalEnergies and Saint-Gobain Partner on 100 MW Solar Project, Aiming for Carbon Neutrality and Job Creation.

TotalEnergies is providing Saint-Gobain with clean energy from 100 MW of its 400 MW solar project in Texas, reducing emissions by 90,000 tonnes annually. This is the third PPA for the company in North America, helping it reach its goal of carbon neutrality by 2050. The agreement will supply 125 industrial sites with renewable energy and reduce carbon dioxide emissions from the project, reducing the carbon footprint by 33% by 2030 and reducing energy costs. However, none of the 400MW solar project will be able to significantly reduce Saint-Bobain’s dependence on fossil-fuels for its operations, as the renewable energy generated from the 400 MW project will also help Saint-gobain to reduce its energy costs and reduce energy costs, as it will be cheaper than energy produced from traditional fossil fuels. Finally, the project will help the company to meet its sustainability goals and objectives, while it will also create jobs in the local community.
