TMEIC Corporation to Relocate HQ to Houston, Launch 9 GW PV Inverter Factory by October 2024.

Japan’s TMEIC Corporation plans to relocate its headquarters to Houston, Texas, and establish a new photovoltaic (PV) inverter factory with an initial annual production capacity of 9 GW. The new manufacturing facility will be located in Brookshire, near TMEICS’s existing uninterruptible power supply and medium voltage drive manufacturing plant in Katy. The factory is expected to start operations in October 2024 and could be expanded depending on market demand. TmeIC, which specialises in PV inverters and energy storage systems in North America, has installed over 28 GW of renewable energy systems since 2010.
