Japan’s TMEIC Corporation plans to relocate its headquarters to Houston, Texas, and establish a new photovoltaic (PV) inverter factory with an initial annual production capacity of 9 GW. The new manufacturing facility will be located in Brookshire, near TMEICS’s existing uninterruptible power supply and medium voltage drive manufacturing plant in Katy.
