Swift Current Energy secures $300M credit facility to advance 1 GW renewable energy projects by 2024.

Swift Current Energy, a US renewables developer, has secured a USD-300m senior secured revolving credit facility to advance its pipeline of wind, solar and energy storage projects. The company, which is majority-owned by Buckeye Energy Holdings, plans to own and operate more than 1 GW of renewable energy projects by the end of 2024 and commercialise 2.2 GW of capacity. First Citizens Bank, Deutsche Bank AG, Truist Securities Inc, National Westminster Bank PLC and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation were among the lead arrangers for the transaction.
