Florida-based rooftop solar and storage company, Sunergy, has joined the NASDAQ stock exchange as Zeo Energy Corp. The company will begin trading on March 14, 2024 under ticker symbols “ZEO” and “ZEOWW.” CEO Tim Bridgewater stated that the merger with ESGEN will enable Zeo to accelerate its growth strategy and serve more customers seeking renewable energy solutions. The transaction resulted in about $18 million in gross proceeds for Zeo. The funds will support its operations and growth strategy, and cover costs from the business combination. Sunergy has been in business since 2005 and plans to expand to Ohio, Illinois and Virginia in 2024.
