Solar Landscape, a New Jersey company, has completed its largest rooftop community solar project in its history, installing community solar installations on warehouse rooftops in Monroe Township and South Brunswick. The installations, which are owned and operated by Solar Landscape and provide 8.8 MWdc of clean, discounted solar energy to over 1,400 nearby homes, with over half of these homes being low- or moderate-income households. The company’s growth has tripled over the past two years, with Solar Landsc employing over 150 people and operating over 250 MW of solar projects. The expansion is expected to double its operations next year, with the goal of building 100 MW of commercial rooftop solar and serving 20,000 new community solar subscribers.
