Senators are set to vote on President Joe Biden’s stalled nominee for the Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission, Moshe Marvit. The agency has seen internal conflict in recent years and Marvits’ nomination cleared the same committee last year on an 11-10 party-line vote. However, the full chamber failed to act on Marvitt’s nomination. The Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee will also vote on other stalled Biden nominees, including Julie Sue for Labor secretary and Stephen Ravas for the Corporation for National and Community Service.
