Senate to Vote on Biden’s FERC Nominee Judy Chang Amid Controversy Over Natural Gas Infrastructure Concerns.

The Senate is set to vote on President Joe Biden’s final nominee to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), Judy Chang, after senators confirmed two other nominees. Chang, a former Massachusetts energy and environment official, has been controversial among conservatives due to her doubts about the need for more natural gas infrastructure in New England. On Wednesday, more than a dozen Republicans voted against David Rosner, another Democratic FERC nominee, in a 67-27 vote.
