The Senate Appropriations Committee has delayed voting on legislation to fund the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and other disaster relief efforts. The committee is meeting to mark up its fiscal 2025 Energy-Water, Defense, Financial Services and Labor-HHS-Education bills. The Homeland Security bill was also supposed to be considered, but committee leaders decided to put it on ice while appropriators continue negotiations.
