Sen. J.D. Vance Critiques Biden’s Energy Policies, Advocates for Domestic Production at Republican National Convention.

Sen. J.D. Vance, a former president and presidential nominee, headlined the third night of the Republican National Convention on a populist, conservative message on energy policy. He criticized President Joe Biden’s clean energy agenda, calling it a “Green New Scam” and calling for more domestic energy production. Despite not directly advocating for more fossil fuel production or anti-electric vehicles, Vance argued that Biden’s policies were harming Americans. He also suggested that President Donald Trump’s potential reelection could solve America’s energy challenges.
