House Transportation and Infrastructure Chair Sam Graves is seeking a waiver to remain the committee’s top Republican during the next Congress, as unlike Democrats, Republicans have term limits. Graves, who served two terms as ranking member before becoming chair this year, confirmed his intentions to E&E News. He said he is more focused on pending matters, including the Federal Aviation Administration and water projects bills.
