Ryan Jackson Joins American Chemistry Council as VP of Federal Affairs, Succeeding Ross Eisenberg in Leadership Role.

Ryan Jackson, a stalwart aide of the Trump EPA and prominent mining lobbyist, is joining the American Chemistry Council as vice president of federal affairs. He will succeed Ross Eisenberg, who is now leading the trade group’s plastics division. Jackson has a track record of supporting and delivering bipartisan policy solutions, including his understanding of the agency’s “regulatory capabilities and statutory mandates while navigating the reality of [its] bureaucratic challenges. The trade group has spent more than $6.3 million on lobbying so far this year, lobbying disclosure records show.
