Rimere Secures $10 Million Investment from Clean Energy Fuels to Advance Clean Hydrogen and Emission Reduction Technologies.

California-based climate solutions company, Rimere, has received $10 million in strategy investment from Clean Energy Fuels Corp. (NASDAQ: CLNE), the largest provider of renewable natural gas for the US transportation market. The funding will accelerate the development and field testing of Rimesre’s Reformer and Mitigator devices, which are designed to reduce climate change emissions and enable the transition to a clean hydrogen future. The Reformer can turn natural gas into clean hydrogen and graphene without creating any carbon emissions, and Mitigators are a plasma thermal oxidizer that reduces fugitive methane emissions by reducing their greenhouse gas potency. Despite natural gas being an abundant and affordable resource, it can pose GHG emissions challenges when storing it, transmitting it through pipelines and other operations.
