Distributed clean energy firm Radial Power has purchased a 22.3-MW portfolio of community solar projects in New York, set to add a combined power generation capacity of 22.4 MW. The acquisition was made through Greenfield renewables development platform Galehead Development LLC, which will continue to manage the land assets for 14 MW of the portfolio. The projects, all of which qualify for the Value of Distributed Energy Resources programme, have permits in place and Radial will oversee their development and construction. RadialPower expects to close the purchase of 18.3 MW of projects in the Galehead portfolio by end-2024.
