US electrolysis technologies developer Power to Hydrogen Inc (P2H2) has raised over USD 18 million (EUR 16.2m) in a Series A financing round to expand its business locally and abroad. The funding will enable the company to fulfill its first order from the Port of Antwerp-Bruges, which is expected to be the first commercial installation of an industrial-scale AEM electrolysis stack in the world. The fresh capital will enable P2H to hire more staff for its team in Columbus, Ohio, expand its manufacturing and supply chain, and open new offices in Belgium. The fundraising round was led by venture capital firm Rev1 Ventures and diversified metals manufacturing company Worthington Enterprises.
