Over 200 Republican administration and campaign alumni, including prominent figures in environmental and energy issues, have endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz for vice president. The signatories, who also worked for President George W. Bush and former GOP presidential nominees Mitt Romney and John McCain, cited the Jan. 6 riot on the Capitol and Project 2025 as reasons to oppose former President Donald Trump’s reelection bid. They warned that another four years of Trump’s chaotic leadership would harm everyday people and weaken institutions.
