OCI Energy, a unit of South Korean energy and chemicals company OCI Co Ltd, has sold a 260-MWp photovoltaic (PV) project in Texas to Hyundai Engineering Co Ltd. The transaction involves the Hillsboro project, which is currently in the development phase and will generate electricity in the ERCOT North load zone once commissioned. This is the first solar project acquisition in the US for Hyundai Engineering, marking the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between OCI Energy and Hyundai Engineering that will pave the way for future collaboration in the renewable energy field.
