Nova Infrastructure Acquires 70% Stake in UGE International, Expanding Solar and Energy Storage Operations Nationwide.

Middle-market infrastructure investment firm Nova Infrastructure has purchased UGE International, a solar and energy storage developer and operator, for approximately 70% of the company’s shares. The acquisition includes UGE’s shares, which are publicly traded on the TSX Venture Exchange. UGE, which was founded in 2010, develops, builds, finances, owns and operates solar and battery storage projects in New York, New Jersey, Maine, California, Pennsylvania, Oregon, Texas, Illinois, Maryland, Virginia and Massachusetts. The company has delivered over 500 MW of projects and has a portfolio of over 12 operating and 81 advanced backlog projects in 11 states. Nova Infrastructure committed acquisition capital and growth capital to support the expansion of the UGE platform and installed MW.
