New Leaf Energy has unveiled a 64-MW portfolio of battery storage projects in Texas, featuring 7 standalone batteries and lithium iron phosphate batteries. The projects include seven standalone batteries located in the south and coastal region of the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, within the territories of utilities AEP and Centerpoint, and are expected to have executable interconnection agreements in place by January 2024, with commercial operation dates anticipated in 2025.
