NADBank Offers $60 Million Loan for Fort Duncan Battery Project in Texas, Construction Set for June 2024.

NADBank has offered Recurrent Energy Texas BESS a market-rate loan of up to US$60 million for the construction of the Fort Duncan project in Maverick County, Texas. The loan is subject to a 30-day public comment period before the final proposal is submitted to the Board of Directors, who will decide if it is approved. The project, which will begin construction in June 2024, will be funded through equity provided by Recurrent, the NADBank loan, and funding from other lenders. The Fort Duncan facility will comprise 88 lithium iron phosphate battery units located across 31.8 acres. The start of commercial operation is scheduled for June 2025.
