US IPP Lydian Energy has launched a 1.75GW solar and battery storage portfolio, backed by capital from renewables energy investor Excelsior Energy Capital. The projects will cater to commercial, industrial and utility customers. Two of the projects, AC Ranch I and AC Ranch II, are currently in the pre-construction phase and have a commercial operation date (COD) of 2026-2027. Currently, three of the BESS projects are located in Texas, with a COD of 2025 and a cumulative capacity of 550MW/1.1GWh.
