Longroad Energy has secured US$600 in debt funding to expand its operational capacity to over 9GW by 2027, and support its 30GW pipeline of development projects. The additional capital will fund the expansion of Longroad Energy’s operational capacity and accelerate its portfolio growth from 1.5GW of owned assets to more than 8.5 GW of solar, wind and energy storage within five years. The funding follows a US$500 million equity investment in August 2022, which supports Longroad’s shift from a “develop to sale” strategy to ownership of renewable projects in the US.
