Koloma Secures $245.7 Million Funding from Gates, Amazon, and United Airlines for Renewable Energy Innovation.

Denver-based startup Koloma has secured $245.7 million in funding from major investors including Bill Gates, Amazon, and United Airlines. The funding is set to accelerate its research and development initiatives towards a greener future. The company’s initial fundraising round saw $300 million, with contributions from Microsoft’s co-founder, Bill Gates. Now, with the addition of Amazon and United airlines, Koloma is poised to scale its operations and drive innovation in renewable energy technologies. The recent funding influx coincides with Koloma receiving a $900,000 loan from the Department of Energy, facilitated by the Arpa-e agency. These partnerships represent a shift towards environmentally responsible investment practices in the business landscape.
