John Kerry Steps Down to Focus on Capital Investment for Clean Economy Transition and Renewable Energy Opportunities.

US Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, John Kerry, has left his role to focus on what he believes to be the main challenge for a clean economy. He emphasised the need to deploy enough capital, money, to facilitate transition to the clean economy and expressed confidence in the world’s ability to solve climate change. He highlighted that more money is now being invested in clean energy than in fossil fuels. He also expressed his belief in the development of small modular reactors as a key tool to combat climate change, particularly focusing on small reactors capable of providing high levels of heat and power to heavy industry. Dimitar Enchev, co-founder and CEO of CWP Global, also commented on the opportunity for renewable energy.
