Electric utility commissions across the nation are following suit, with utility commissions following suit. This is seen as the next step in a death march for the industry, with questions about whether this move is the beginning of a trend that will continue to negatively impact the industry. The New York Public Service (NYPA) is seeking responses from private sector renewable developers, contractors, and companies interested in collaborating on solar energy, wind and battery energy storage projects.
