House Republicans have announced their long-promised ‘energy week’ in an effort to lower energy costs for families. Despite this, it is unlikely that these efforts will significantly impact the economy. Majority Leader Steve Scalise stated that the GOP would move bills on the floor to promote lower energy bills.
