House Republicans Investigate Interior Department’s Ties to Environmental Groups Amid Corruption Accusations Against Trump and Oil Industry.

House Republicans are seeking to expose collusion between the Interior Department and environmental activist groups, with Democrats accusing the oil and gas industry and former Republican President Donald Trump of corruption. The Natural Resources Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations met to discuss the influence of extreme environmental activists in the department. The hearing quickly descended into a partisan tat over who has been more corrupt. It comes a day before Interior Secretary Deb Haaland will testify before the full committee.
