House Republicans Demand FBI Briefing on Rising Threats from Radical Ecoterrorists to U.S. Energy Infrastructure.

House Oversight Republicans have requested a briefing by the FBI regarding threats from “radical ecoterrorists” against pipelines and other critical energy infrastructure. The letter, led by Oversight and Accountability Chair James Comer (R-Ky), demands information about how these calls to violence are increasingly promoted globally, including at American universities. Comer was joined by Republican Reps. Michael Waltz of Florida and Glenn Grothman of Wisconsin. The committee seeks to understand the threat these extremists pose to the physical energy infrastructure of the United States and implications for national security.
