Honda has released its 2024 outlook for its passenger vehicle business, stating that it still sees a strong future for hydrogen cars, despite its discontinued Clarity model three years ago due to lack of fueling infrastructure and demand. The auto giant’s Senior Vice President of Sales Mamadou Diallo stated that while hydrogen cars may not be the best emission-free vehicle currently, they believe there is a strong potential for this type of passenger vehicle. This year, Honda is expected to focus on hybrid models and light trucks, while focusing on introducing its first high volume electric vehicles. The company also plans to introduce two zero emission vehicles and three zero emissions vehicles in the coming years, with the first being the Prologue SUV and the first hydrogen car to enter the lineup.
